Activities
Day 1 – Rio de Janeiro
Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Accomodation.
Day 2 – Rio de Janeiro. (B, L)
Full Day SUGAR LOAF & CORCOVADO WITH ENTRANCES & CITY TOUR + LUNCH (Private or SIB Services with English Guide, Duration: 08 hours)
After breakfast, in previous scheduled time, we will leave the hotel to visit Rio’s most famous landmarks and natural beauties. After a scenic drive along Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, you will arrive at the bottom of the Corcovado Hill and continue the tour on a comfortable train which will climb the mountain until the famous Christ the Redeemer (2.300ft above sea level). There is mechanized access with panoramic elevators and escalators that take us to the foot of the statute. There, you will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro and discover why the city is called the “Marvelous City”. We make our way down on the same route and towards another world famous landmark, the Sugar Loaf, named because its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined sugar loaf. The tour is done in two steps by glass cable-cars. The first cable-car takes passengers to the top of Urca Hill, which rises215 metersabove sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay its islands. From Urca Hill, passengers continue in a second cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises 395 meters above sea level and offers a 360 degree view of the entire city including Botafogo and Copacabana Beaches, the Corcovado and downtown Rio. It´s included lunch in a typical Barbecue restaurant "churrascaria". Back to hotel and Accommodation.
Day 3 – Rio de Janeiro. (B)
Half Day HISTORICAL RIO (Private or SIB Services with English Guide, Duration: 04 hours)
Walking along the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa, a bucolic area in Rio de Janeiro, you will visit the Ruins Park (closed on Mondays), a public park with an art gallery built around the ruins of a mansion. Up next, you will walk down the colorful Selarón Steps, one of Rio’s landmarks, and arrive at the district of Lapa, the zone with most traditional nightlife. Take a stroll in the Passeio Público, the oldest public park in the South America, to reach Cinelândia, a lively spot in Rio thanks to its bars, restaurants and cultural attractions. Your last stop will be at Confeitaria Colombo (closed on Sundays), a permanent member of all “must-see cafés” rankings around the world.
Day 4 – Rio de Janeiro / Campo Grande / Aquidauana. (B)
Check Out, departure transfer to the airport to take a flight to Campo Grande, and continue to a Typical Pantanal Lodge. Arrival in Aquidauana, the entrance city of the South Pantanal.
Check in begins between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Alligator and natural species watching tour: Tour done by boat* (*This is subject to river conditions and it can be changed for another tour) in case of conditions night tour on the Aquidauana river focusing on alligators, capybaras, etc; In addition to observing the sky and listening to the silence of the forests. It can be done in cars through the fields to observe wolves, alligators and capybaras passing through the lakes. Duration: 1 hour, Accommodation. Free night.
Day 5 – Aquidauana. (B, L, D)
On this day, passengers can choose two tours from the tours offered by the pousada, such as:
Horseback Riding, Ecological Walk, Livestock Management, Photographic Safari, Piranha Fishing, Fluvial Tour by the River; Typical Pantanera carriage ride, Alligator Spotting. Return, free night to enjoy a typical pantaneira meal.
Day 6 – Aquidauana / Pantanal of Miranda / Bodoquena. (B, L)
Very early in the morning, it is the day of departure from Aquidauana to Miranda, clients can choose one of the two DAY USE tours as follows: Salobra Project "or" Pantanal Experience:
Pantanal Experience: In this Day Use, in a Pantaneira Party you will ride a horse leading the cattle through the farm roads, experiencing the day of a cowboy in the Pantanal. In addition, you will experience the delicious cuisine typical of a camp, the Entourage Food and then you will be able to rest in the hammock, visit the Agachi Museum and enjoy the peace and tranquility of a typical farm in the Pantanal. Riding in the Pantanal is one of the richest experiences you can have. Get on a horse and ride trails through fields, buritis forests, cerrado areas, flooded areas, in the shade of the trees on the banks of the Agachi stream.
Salobra Project: contemplates a full day tour starting in a tractor-drawn wagon along a 3 km path to the port; follow the Prainha trail, through the riverside forest for about 1 km, Boat ride “Meeting of the Waters Walk”, Return to the reception where lunch is served. In the afternoon, Tractor-pulled wagon ride along a 3km trail to the port, continue to the Bacuri trail for approximately 1km (flat trail for all ages), “Bahía de Arraias Tour” boat ride, according to conditions of river it is possible to bathe, return to the reception and a fresh coffee is served as a thank you for your visit.

Day 7 – Bodoquena. (B, L)
After breakfast, departure to the Nacientes de Serra, in the Azul River, an incredible walk, where the passengers for about 700 meters Floating in the limpid water where the sources of the Salobra river are, nature is so splendid that it is the same river now the color of the water changes the aspect where it is possible to float, being able to see the limestone waters that clarify it and give it the name of Río Azul, with the peak of intense sun it makes the river turn blue, and it is no more than a mirror, the important thing is that it is possible to "float" observing different species of fish and plants, a charm is this fluctuation in the magical crystalline waters. Departure to the Cachoeiras Serra da Bodoquena Farm where we will have a ride on a refreshing bath in the Falls, with a contemplative boat ride, Zipline, Kayak Duck, Tennis Court, ending with lunch, return to the hotel. Accommodation and free night.
Day 8 – Bodoquena / Bonito. (B, L)
In the morning, departure from the hotel for an adventure in the Boca da Onça park. The main trail is approximately 4 km long, passing through many waterfalls including the Boca da Onça Falls, which is the highest in the state with 156m. high, it is possible to bathe in some of these beautiful works of art of nature. The tour is committed to quality and safety. You have the option of rappelling down 90 meters (see additional price) or continue and go down the 886-step stairway from where you can see the Salobra river canyon. Return to the headquarters of the modern complex to change your clothes and after lunch departure to the last destination. Arrival in Bonito, accommodation and free night.
Day 9 – Bonito. (B)
After breakfast, departure for the walk Gruta da Lagoa Azul (Blue Cave). Discovered in 1924 by an Indian from the Terena tribe, the Gruta do Lago Azul is a cave listed by the IPHAN (National Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage) that has a lake Underground with crystalline waters that acquire an intense blue color under the incidence of sunlight, the visit to the cave is for contemplation, and entry to the lake is not allowed. This restriction was a way to preserve the elements present in the place, such as fossils of Pleistocene mammals, rare minerals and endemic crustaceans. We will start with a 300m path that leads to the entrance of the cave, which is Bonito's business card. It is worth going down the 298 steps to contemplate the speleothems and the Blue Lake, whose dimensions make it one of the largest flooded cavities on the planet, the saber-toothed tiger and the giant sloth. Mandatory use of slippers and mask. Minimum age: 06 years.
In the afternoon, Natural Aquarium: Floating and Trail starting with a walk of approx. 700m in riparian forest to the source of the Baia Bonita river, where flotation takes place from approx. 800m appreciating the diversity of fish and underwater plants. On the way back along the animal trail approx. 1,000m, visitor will be able to see birds and wild animals and jump from the zip line where the rivers meet (additional cost). The tour has a support boat throughout the trip. There is a restaurant in the attraction, consumption is paid separately. Return to the hotel, accommodation and free night.
Day 10 – Bonito / Campo Grande. (B)
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Campo Grande airport or hotel.
