Activities
Day 1 – Rio de Janeiro.
Arrival in Rio and transfer to the hotel.
Check-in starts from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Accommodation. Free evening.
Day 2 – Rio de Janeiro. (B, L)
Full day Sugarloaf Mountain and Corcovado with tickets & panoramic city tour and lunch (Private or Shared Service with Spanish-speaking guide, Duration: 8 hours)
First, board the train that takes us to Christ the Redeemer. During the train ride, you will experience crossing the rainforest for about 20 minutes to reach the top of Corcovado. Named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Christ the Redeemer has a viewpoint that we will climb for a privileged view of Rio de Janeiro. We will then descend back to sea level to start our visit to the city's main monuments. We will visit Maracanã Stadium (outside) and the Sambadrome. Continue our journey to the Metropolitan Cathedral and then to Sugarloaf Mountain. At up to 396 meters above sea level, you will enjoy a memorable and inspiring experience. The cable car ride begins at Praia Vermelha station, ascending Morro da Urca and then to Sugarloaf Mountain, interconnected by two cable car lines, offering stunning views at any time of the day. Enjoy the lush nature of the Atlantic Forest, mountain outlines, city architecture and downtown, main beaches, the imposing Tijuca massif, and Corcovado with Christ the Redeemer’s statue; Guanabara Bay with Botafogo Cove; and in the background, Serra do Mar with the “Finger of God” peak. The route also includes a panoramic tour of famous beaches such as Copacabana. Lunch is included.
Day 3 – Rio de Janeiro (B)
Half day Historic Rio (Private or Shared Service with Spanish-speaking guide, Duration: 4 hours)
Visit the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa, a picturesque area in Rio de Janeiro. You will visit the Parque das Ruínas (closed on Mondays), a public park with an art gallery built around the ruins of a mansion. Next, walk through the colorful Selarón Steps, one of Rio’s monuments, and reach the Lapa district, known for its traditional nightlife. Take a stroll through the Public Promenade, the oldest public park in South America, to reach Cinelândia, a lively place in Rio with bars, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Your last stop will be at Confeitaria Colombo (closed on Sundays), a permanent member of all the world’s “must-visit cafés” rankings.
Day 4 – Rio de Janeiro (B) / Natal
Check-out and transfer to the airport to take the flight to Natal.
Arrival in Natal. Check-in starts from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Accommodation. Free evening.
Day 5 – Natal (B)
Full day: Pipa Tour (Private service every day, with Spanish-speaking guide, Duration: 8 hours)
After pickup from your hotel in Natal, travel along one of Brazil’s longest highways through the municipality of Tibau do Sul. Enjoy views of lush vegetation and tropical landscapes through the window on the way to Pipa. Arrival in Pipa to dip your toes in the sand and see the beaches stretching in both directions. Cliffs along the beach and small coves dot the white sandy stretches, with turtles and dolphins swimming offshore. Sit on the beach and relax, enjoying the beautiful natural scenery. Stop at Caimbinhas Beach to explore and watch people practicing the popular local sport, kitesurfing. After your beach time, visit the town of Pipa. Browse the local craft and souvenir markets to take home a piece of the trip. Stop at one of the town’s restaurants or cafés to taste authentic local food (own expense). At the end of your 8-hour day exploring the beaches in Tibau do Sul, return to your hotel.
