Day 1 – São Luís do Maranhão

Arrival in São Luís and transfer to the hotel.
Check-in starts at 2:00–3:00 PM. Accommodation. Free evening.

Day 2 – São Luís (B) / Barreirinhas

Around 7:00 AM, departure to Barreirinhas on a 4-hour journey along good roads, where we can observe Babaçu and Buriti plantations. Barreirinhas is located on the banks of the Preguiças River, a small, peaceful, and hospitable town. The Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, located nearby, is a rare gem with magnificent dunes sculpted by nature, and from March to September, it contains hundreds of lagoons formed by rainwater during the season. Arrival and accommodation.

Around 2:00 PM, we will start our tour in a 4×4 vehicle to the heart of the Lençóis, walking through the Lagoa Azul circuit, with a swim in the lagoon and contemplation of the beautiful sunset over the dunes. At the end of the afternoon, we return to Barreirinhas to enjoy the hotel pool or explore the quiet streets of the town, or simply admire the calm waters of the river while savoring a delicious pizza at one of the local restaurants. Day 3 – Barreirinhas (B) / Atins

08:15 AM – Transfer from the inn to the riverbank and shortly after, around 8:30 AM, we board a speedboat for a ride along the majestic Preguiças River. Along its calm waters, we will see igarapés, mangroves, buritis, açaí palms, tucum palms, as well as herons and shorebirds. We will stop at the communities of VASSOURAS (also known as the Small Lençóis), where we can enjoy fresh coconut water and interact with capuchin monkeys; MANDACARÚ, a small fishing village where we climb 160 steps up the Preguiças Lighthouse for a breathtaking view of the dunes, river, ocean, and typical vegetation; and finally CABURÉ, a sandbar located between the river and the sea. We then continue to the village of Atins. Arrival and accommodation in one of the local inns. Free evening.

Day 4 – Atins (B)

Morning at leisure to enjoy the region. At 2:30 PM, departure in a 4×4 vehicle to Canto do Atins, where we will walk through the beautiful dunes of the park and refresh ourselves in the lagoons formed during the rainy season. Then, we head to Luzia’s or Seu Antônio’s restaurant to taste the famous grilled shrimp (not included), well-known throughout the region. We’ll also take a break to relax in hammocks, enjoying the delightful sea breeze. Return to the inn. Free evening.

Day 5 – Atins (B) / Caburé / Parnaíba

After breakfast, we board a speedboat to cross the Preguiças River to Caburé (15 min). There, we take a 4×4 vehicle toward Tutóia, passing through 15 km of deserted beaches, 5 km of beautiful dunes, and 10 km of off-road trails until reaching the small town of Paulino Neves. From there, we continue for another 30 km on paved roads to our destination. Arrival and boarding of a speedboat to cross the Delta. We will pass through several labyrinths formed by igarapés, observe a crab-catching demonstration, and visit fishing corrals used by local riverside communities. We will also pass by the gazebo of São Bernardo to see a small church in the middle of nowhere and at Morro do Meio, where we can swim in the waters of Parnaíba. Lunch (not included) will be held on one of the Delta islands, as per the guide/pilot’s arrangements. Arrival at Porto de Tatus in Parnaíba and transfer to the inn. Accommodation in Parnaíba. Free evening.

Day 6 – Parnaíba (B) / Jericoacoara

After breakfast, departure in a 4×4 vehicle from Parnaíba to the beautiful village of Jericoacoara. Along the way, we pass through Camocim, where we take a ferry to Love Island, starting our journey through kilometers of dunes and deserted beaches. We will stop for photos at the Duna do Funil and at Lagoa da Torta in Tatajuba, where we will choose lunch (not included) from the “live menu” (you pick the fresh fish you’ll eat) and relax in hammocks over the lagoon. We continue along the beaches to Guriú, cross another ferry, and proceed to Mangue Seco before finally arriving in Jericoacoara. Accommodation. Free evening.

Day 7 – Jericoacoara (B)

After breakfast, morning departure from Jericoacoara towards the Lazy Tree (Árvore da Preguiça) for a photo stop. Inside Jericoacoara National Park, we can visit the seasonal lagoons formed between huge dunes during the rainy season. We visit Lagoa Azul for a swim and then continue to Lagoa do Paraíso for lunch (not included) and a swim in its crystal-clear waters. Return and accommodation in Jericoacoara. Free evening.

Day 8 – Jericoacoara (B)

Day at leisure to enjoy the charms of the region. Optional tours available.

Day 9 – Jericoacoara (B) / Fortaleza

Check-out at the scheduled time and transfer to Fortaleza Airport. End of our services.
