Day 1 – Santiago.
Arrival in Santiago and transfer to hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2 – Santiago. (B, D)
HD City tour: From your hotel in Santiago, we head to the direction of the Santiago city center, where it is possible to know the main places of the city. During the trip, there will be a panoramic view of Bellavista Neighborhood, Mercado Central, Estación Mapocho and Museo de Bellas Artes. Next is a guided visit to Cerro Santa Lucía. From here we head to the main square, from where it is possible to see the Santiago Cathedral, Municipality, Post Office, National history Museum. The trip continues with a panoramic view of former National Congress. We will also have a guided visit of the Government Palace. The excursion continues with a visit of area of Club Hípico, the University Neighborhood and the Concha y Toro neighborhood. On the way back, we’ll see Modern Santiago and arrive at the Faba Handicraft Shop, which specializes in jewelry made with lapis lazuli, a stone found only in Chile and Afghanistan.
Tonight Bali Hai Folk Show: Departure from hotel in Santiago, to discover a totally different Santiago by night. Touring around the streets full of lights and the magic of the night, it is possible to appreciate the architectural appeal of the capital. Arrival to the Bali Hai Restaurant decorated in Polynesian style with replicas of moai statues on the exterior. Here it is possible to find the charm of the wines and the taste of the foods while observating a show with colourful suits, live music and different types of folkloric dances of the Chilean regions.
Day 3 – Santiago. (B)
Departure from Santiago toward to Viña del Mar, also known as the “Garden City” due to its great amount of parks and well-kept gardens. We will make a stop to visit the beautiful park Quinta Vergara, the Carrasco Palace. Following this, our tour will continue along the most important ocean front of the central coast, to later reach the famous clock of flowers of the city. Later, we will arrive to Valparaiso, declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO, filled with colorful houses among the hills, parks and diverse National Monuments. One of its attractions is the Sotomayor Square, an important civic square located very close to the principal port of Chile. Lastly, at this point, we will navigate through this port bay, where the view of Valparaiso is most appreciated. During the afternoon, we will return to Santiago.
Day 4 – Santiago. (B)
Transfer out to airport.
