Activities

Day 1 – Buenos Aires.

Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to hotel. Accommodation.

Day 2 – Buenos Aires (B, D)

HD City tour: Buenos Aires panoramic city tour will take you through the highlights of South America’s most European and cosmopolitan city. We’ll drive along 9 de Julio Avenue where the renowned Colón Theater and the Obelisk, symbols of our city, are located. We’ll visit Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by important historic buildings like the Casa Rosada, the Cathedral and the City Hall. We’ll also visit Plaza San Martin, Alvear and Plaza del Congreso. The tour will drive us along the old fashion Avenida de Mayo and the dynamic Avenida Corrientes. Explore neighborhoods filled with colors and history, like La Boca and San Telmo, and the sumptuous neighborhoods of Palermo, Recoleta and the modern Puerto Madero, a busy gastronomic and entertainment center. Among other highlights of the tour we’ll pass by Parque Lezama, Tres de Febrero, commercial and financial areas plus La Bombonera, Boca’s football stadium.

Tonight Tango Show with Dinner: we will watch the authentic roots and the pure essence of the Argentine tango in a full show of music, singing and dancing of top artistic quality.

Day 3 – Buenos Aires. (B)

HD Delta & Tigre: Just outside the city of Buenos Aires we find the Parana River Delta, a peaceful area home to a wide variety of plants and animals. Upon arrival in the town of Tigre, we will board a boat and sail along the delta to explore its islands. The life of the “isleños” (people who live on the islands of the Delta) is very special. Our local guide will provide you with information about their customs, culture and way of life. We will also have the opportunity to see the elegant residences located in the neighborhoods north of Tigre. After the boat tour, we will have the opportunity to re-board the bus and travel to the small town of San Isidro. There, we will learn about its history and people. On the way back to Buenos Aires, we will pass by the Presidential Residence just outside the city in Quinta de Olivos.

Day 4 – Buenos Aires. (B)

Transfer out to airport.
