Activities
Day 1 – Rio de Janeiro
Arrival in Rio and transfer to the hotel.
Check-in starts between 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Accommodation. Free evening.
Day 2 – Rio de Janeiro (B, L)
Full Day: SUGARLOAF MOUNTAIN & CORCOVADO WITH ENTRANCE TICKETS & PANORAMIC CITY TOUR WITH LUNCH (Private or Regular Service with Spanish-speaking Guide, Duration: 8 hours)
First, board the train that will take you to Christ the Redeemer. During the train ride, you will travel through the rainforest for about 20 minutes to reach the top of Corcovado. Named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Christ the Redeemer has a viewpoint where you can enjoy a privileged view of Rio de Janeiro. Descend back to sea level to start visiting the main city landmarks, including Maracanã Stadium (outside) and the Sambadrome. Continue to the Metropolitan Cathedral and then to Sugarloaf Mountain.
At up to 396 meters above sea level, enjoy a memorable and inspiring experience. The cable car ride starts at Praia Vermelha station, goes up to Morro da Urca, and then to Sugarloaf Mountain, interconnected by two cable lines, offering breathtaking views at any time of the day. Admire the lush Atlantic Forest, mountain contours, city architecture, main beaches, the imposing Tijuca Massif, Corcovado with Christ the Redeemer, Guanabara Bay with Botafogo Cove, and, in the background, Serra do Mar with the “Dedo de Deus” peak. The tour also includes a panoramic drive along famous beaches such as Copacabana. Lunch is included.
Day 3 – Rio de Janeiro (B)
Half Day: HISTORIC RIO (Private or Regular Service with Spanish-speaking Guide, Duration: 4 hours)
Visit the bohemian Santa Teresa neighborhood, a picturesque area in Rio de Janeiro. See the Parque das Ruínas (closed on Mondays), a public park with an art gallery built around the ruins of a mansion. Walk along the colorful Selarón Steps, one of Rio’s landmarks, and reach the Lapa district, known for its traditional nightlife. Stroll through the Public Promenade, the oldest public park in South America, and reach Cinelândia, a lively area with bars, restaurants, and cultural attractions. The final stop is at Confeitaria Colombo (closed on Sundays), a permanent highlight in all “must-visit cafés” lists worldwide.
Day 4 – Rio de Janeiro (B) / Praia do Forte
Check-out, transfer to the airport for a flight to Salvador, then transfer to the hotels in Praia do Forte.
Arrival in Praia do Forte. Check-in starts between 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Accommodation. Free evening.
